Hey guys, emissions question. I live in WA, and for 1996 and up, cars have to do an OBDII scan for emission related fault codes. If I do this swap, is it possible to be able to get the ls2 to not throw any fault codes? I realize the VIN# will be different when they plug in, I am not sure if they actually compare them, as I haven't noticed them do it before. Any advice will be helpful, thanks!

 

Has anyone found a place to order the Male M16 x Female 1/8" BSP for the oil pressure sensor? I have found it only on an australian site :|

 

I just tee-ed in at the "out" oil line at the pan for oil pressure, then again at the filter for oil temp.

There isn't much you need from the stock Nissan harness oil and coolant if you want your gauge to work and if you want to be able to read your body control module codes a connector for that

 

Yea I just want to incorporate the OEM instruments(speed, signal,lights, wipers etc)minus the tach...I was going through a bunch if diagrams last night but ended up falling asleep. lol

Anyhow I'm gonna go at it some more later, my standalone harness is from PSi Conversion so it's simple and clean just need to integrate it properly.

Why no updates from the LS crew? The VR6 gut in the FI section is walking all over our group in terms of progress...

Mildly willing to part mine out if the right buyers came along but my motor os freshly rebuilt and has 80 miles on it sikky kit with 1 7/8 sikky headers comp cam torque v3 with dual over head springs fast fuel rails. Earls fittings and hoses custom exhaust and complete harness 100% working no flaws

Walking all over "us" how, in terms of progress. They are still building that project, while I am still throwing down close to 1000rwhp, with a new tune coming soon. Not sure how you can say they are walking all over this group. I garauntee there are more LS swapped Z's on the street then there are VR's.

 

Why do you have an aftermarket Tach in front of your stock tach in your cluster. If it was working, i would understand, but neither tach seemed to be working.
