Has anyone heard of anyone swapping a 2jz into a 350z using the cd009 trans behind it? Wanting to ask some questions

I believe someone here started a project like that. Try searching for it, I think I saw it as recent as a couple weeks ago.

Street Standards did a 1JZ swap a while back and documented it fairly well. There's threads on here about it as well

I did search @redbullrr and everyone uses an auto trans or the r154

@kjfire4life I looked that up as well and they uses the r154.

Anyone us the cd009 trans?

Yea Ive seen a few on YT.. Its possible. Still not sure if I fully approve tho.


I wish more guys would build and rep DE's more. All they need is a rod enforcement to handle average FI numbers most people run. Hardly ever do I see guys go full 1000hp 2j or massive numbers a DE couldn't haha


Why not stick to DE and instead of spending $$ and headaches on a new J block and swapping. why not upgrade the DE internals for probably much cheaper.
