A la The Amazing Race (sort of), my wife set this up for the club. She's been wanting to do this for a while, so we finally got around to rounding up some enthusiasts. The best part was when a couple of ladies showed up in a minivan and actually made it to the finish line first (but did not win the overall contest). They were good sports and really enjoyed the event.

We had the van, a 370Z, a 300ZXTT, and the rest were 350Z's.

You would have had a great time. The after party was fun, too! The stories had me cracking up.

 

Oh, and the winner is Chris and his dad. I didn't realize it until they were leaving, but it was the dad's car they were driving. It wasn't the other Z that Ryan and I saw at the ZOOM meeting earlier this month.

Chis and Phil got a nice trophy (thanks to Sam).

 

Had so much fun today, what a blast. That was a cool trophy that Sam made. Would be kind of cool to get something like that for all the Z club members, Id kick in a few bucks for one.

 

I should take a photo of the scoreboard and post it up. I still can't believe the minivan came back to the house first and we got 3rd or 4th place.

DAMN this looks like fun!!! i'm so jealous. i wish i was more involved with the progress of this, but selling my car had sidetracked me from forums and everything. I woulda had so much fun with this. Glad the turnout was decent, and that trophy is awesome.
