Since i put my seats in, the warning light has been on. I know this is because of the side air bags, but i was wondering if the rest of the airbags will function correctly. Im waiting on that nismo part from Jason at mynismo.com but i just want to know if my airbags are going work. Anyone have a fix for the seatbelt light? i wonder if i can shove something in there

 

2ohm resistor in the airbag plug- (or 2.2 ohm)

do the Airbag reset procedure and you should be ok..

its turn the key to ON,
wait 7 seconds until the airbag light first turns off, before 1 seconds passes you have to turn the key to OFF and count 3 seonds, and do then turn it back on.

after three times of this procedure, the fourth time keep the key in the on position and the Air bag light will flash in a different sequence.

turn the key to off. wait 15 seconds and then turn the car on- it *SHOULD* no longer flash if you ahve the resistors in place-

I just reset mine last night, did a search under airbag reset. Took me 1 minute to reset it.

Insert key turn to on position for 7 seconds. At 7th second, airbag light will start to blink, turn to off immediately within 1 second. Wait 10 seconds and repeat. Repeat a total of 4 times.

It went off for me on the 3rd turn of the key tho.

i bought resistor kits form www.airbagonoff.com. someone posted some pics of them on here if you run a search. it was some time ago when i got mine though, and i dont remember how much they were??? i know it was under $50 for both sides shipped. they have a kit specificaly for the 350z. give um a call.
