Default G35 headlight change

what would it take to get my car to have head lights like this or even closly looking like this.

i don't need answers like "buy a G35 and you head lights can look like that"

could you take the light out of the housing of a G35 and modify it to fit into the housing of the Z? i know maybe it would take some custom molding but it might be worth it.

kernel, you e-mailed us earlier.. no idea, we dont fabricate new headlamps. good luck finding such a beast.

ps: why would you want to go from a projector headlamp to a reflector headlamp? ugh.

you could do that, then you'll have triple beams

Of course, you would need to know how to do it.

I like the Z headlights better than the g35c headlights anyway. Just hate that damned orange reflector in the headlight. Where is that guy that sold those few sets to ares?!!?

yah i could see that, i just like how the BMW M3 lights are setup, and it would be neat if we could do something like that just stacked like the G35. 2 round projection lights. corse i want a 280Z Hood on my car as well so i might just be out of my mind lately.

Well, there would be the cost of the headlights. And the materials + labor to customize it. I would venture a guess of an easy $1k-$2k to make it fit?

photochopped. You can tell by the picture, and even if you cant, compare the car in that picture (with g35 headlights) to the SAME car in kernel's sig without g35 headlights.

I want to see the clearcorners headlight color matched housing on a SB Z. I'm really interested since I'm not that big of a fan of the shiny Z headlights.

well I bringing this back from the dead, i think you could do it, it even looks good. the coust I wouldnt know. I once saw an '95 altima with all the front changed, in the front the car looked exactly as a bmw series 3. I also saw an eclipse, with g35 tail lights. You should try talking to people in body shops and try to find answers.
