Default Installing neons in car... experts help pls

I bought two 12 inch neons for the interior of my Z. I want the neons to light up when I open the door, can any experts please teach me how to do this?

you have to get a pressure switch, kind of like the same one that makes your dome light come on when you open the door. its the same thing.

well Id just make them come on with the interior lights. plus side side, no switches to install, down side theyll come on when you turn on the map lights too. use a relay because those lights dim or whatever, but a relay should give your lights a solid on and off.

bonus points if you find the relay switch line thats already telling the map lights the door is open; then use that so itll only be on when the door is open not when the map light is on. but I dont know where you would do this..

dont see the problem with this. i have 2 6" in my footwells, orange, that match the interior lights of the Z perfectly. exact same thing as the JDM nismo footwell lamp kit that some folks pay $100 for
