Default Vented carbon fiber hood + rain = no ???

I am about to purchase a carbon fiber hood and wondering about the "water" issue. For those with vented carbon fiber hood, VIS or Seibon (VT), is there a problem with driving your car in the rain ? Also, is there still fitment/clearance issues with either one of these hoods ?

Thanks..............

engines water proof. its not a sealed compartment to begin with. itll get dirty, but wont hurt it.

dont they have some sort of covers that go inside too if you want?

They do come with a cover, but you're supposed to take it off. I think there'd be more fitment issues if it was left on. At least for the TS.

My Z no longer drives in the rain anyways
