Thumbs up Anyone paint their vented CF hoods?

Curious to see what it looks like (particularly on superblack) to match the car. Might flow nice

Kinda pointless on Z stock hood is lighter than CFhood I painted all my CF pieces on my MR2 a year back and it came out very clean (weight savings too)

That is not true. A cheapie U.S. brand CF hood is 1~3lbs lighter than stock hood. A dry carbon Japanese CF hood weighs significantly less than the stock hood.

That is going to be BADASS. Same exact hood I was looking at for my SB!

ps: I'm aware of the lightness of the stock Z hood, I just think it would look pretty sweet having a color matched vented hood

JDM Carbon hoods are definatly lighter than the stock Z hood and the vents lowere engine bay temps...not exactly "pointless"

JDM Nismo kit (or a replica of it).

It's a full bumper replacement and sideskirts.
