Opinions: HUR+1 Aero for coupe
Ok just got my redline track, pretty much in a tight budget right now. Love the car and everything and I have some deep dish 18's I have from my S14, don't knock me for being cheap but does anybody have any experience with the HUR+1 Aero kit from Hop Up Racing? I'm talking about the INGs LX Lip kit replica that they have... Anyone know about the quality of the material? pretty sure its fiberglass right? and also the fitment of the parts? I really love the simple look of the lip kit and I feel that it accentuates the body lines of the Z. Any info would be very very much appreciated.

i dont know guys... replicas are well... replicas. I was thinking really hard about doing this same replica kit but then i figured with all the prep work/body work you'll have to do to get it to fit right (replicas are renowned for not having the best fitment) and the labor money, i'd rather just save up a little more and do it right.
I just ended up shelling out 1300 for an authentic Vertex half kit, and i know i wont be worried about fitment/prepwork.
I have learned one thing with cars the past couple of years i've been modding... do it once and do it right. Its better to spend 1300 once than spending 600 on a replica and then 1300 for the original
.
but in the end it all comes down to you! Good luck !

You are wrong my friend. I have the Ings replica which I got from Hop Up racing. I have the lip and the rear valance panel. Both are flawless and test fit perfectly. Not only that but They cost me 1/3 what the authentic Ings half kit pieces would have.
I also got the Ings replica wing from Unlimited Tuning and the thing is perfect. at 200 dollars vs 670 for the original you cant beat it.
True some replicas are shittty, but I dont think Ings has any business charging that much for a kit, especially when I can get a quality reproduction at 1/3rd the price.

Joust please tell me this is all truth... also definitely might need to post some pics man if you don't mind. some minimal prep work i dont mind but if it going to be a "make fit" type of replica then forget about it, i do understand where TakeiteZ is coming from since i have experienced it first hand on my first project car which was an integra and i tried on a replica c-west by extreme dimensions, trust me it was f***ing horrible! what a nightmare... thats why I'm trying to reach out to anybody who has this replica to see the quality and fitment. thanks to everyone that replied though, much appreciated.
Test fit the kit myself about a week ago and the kit goes on in two weeks. I will post pics and how much it cost to get it installed.
I have an initial quote of 1100, for rear valance, spoiler and lip.(no skirts)
Could be more if I intend to mold valance and lip. I havent decided yet.

Joust- appreciate the info and help, its a shame that you're not from around my way (NYC)... i could have hooked you with a much cheaper price for the install... i got a body guy that has been doing all my cars since '98, extremely high quality workmanship but it still also depends on how much prepping the damn thing needs... we'll be waiting for you post and review. thanks again.
hey joust, by any chance does unlimited tuning have a website? i checked out a few websites that could have possibly been the same shop but they didn't have anything listed for the ings replica spoiler.
