Default Anyone put in racing seats?

My friend recently put racing seats in his car and they feel really nice. They hug you really tight and keep you in your spot the whole time. I always take turns really fast and end up sliding around in my seat. Im just wondering if anyone put racing seats in their Z and what they think of them. Im basically stuck. Ill be giving up leather power seats, side curtain airbags, and heated seats for lighter, more comfortable seats.

I have Torinos in my car and I love them. They hold you inplace very tight, look good and they are comforatable (after hours of getting use to them) A few members and myself had issues with passenger seat rubbing with door as brackets on passenger side are closer by less than an inch from the driver side. That would be the only negative over here.

i have the torinos as well on my car, and they do actually "mold" to your body. Im a bigger guy, and i find them very comfortable. They look great too.

there are a couple of options..

You can go with Reclinable seats or Bucket (fixed back real race seats)

Sparco seems to be the seat everyone gets as they are economically priced.
www.sparcousa.com
Made for the US body size... For some reason some of the seats are just uncomfortable for long distance driving.

Recaro are really nice however price is dependent on which one you want.
www.recaro-na.com
Speed seats are nice.. or balla seats are the SPG

Bride is just kick-a$$ JDM seats which unfortunately are really expensive.
But fitment quality is the best for the rails.
www.tees-usa.com
All around cool seats... Ergo2 seems to be popular. For those with large waist sizes XAX2 are a better fit.

Street Image sells them all so if you are interested please PM me.

I have some bride seats in my car... and one ergo2 in stock..

We have some seats on display... but not too many...

The best option to see seats in Southern California is at Super Autobacs.

I do have 350z slider brackets in stock for Bride Seats... so if anyone is interested in Bride Reclinable Seats let me know.

bucket seat is just too much for street driving. i have a set of Zeta3 on my Z, it's so uncomfortable even with only driving the car to the track.

Funny, maybe you have wrong size, or maybe you have a sensitive back/behind.

Bucket seats are supposed to be as comfortable, if not more comfortable than any standard seat.

Anyway,... what happens with side impact airbags?

i'm sure i dont have wrong size, since it fits and holds me perfectly.
though i do think i got a sensitive back.
another point is aftermarket racing seats are usually not as soft as stock seat, butt will be hurt too for long driving

YUP! I have the same problem with the passenger side seat. The shoulder of the seat is rubbing the door panel. It is really hard for the passenger to put the seat belt on because there is no room to slide the seatbelt. I noticed that if you have the seat tilt more to the front it will help a bit. Anyone have a fix for this?
