Hey guys, does anyone offer a Nismo full front bumper? I figure it is the best option for me because it is Urethane. I would buy the Do-Luck front end if it weren't for the "fringe" that runs around the bottom of the bumper. It matches the Do Luck side skirts but not my GReddy sides. Plus I don't like how it juts out like that personally. I wish they had just made the kit "flat" without the flared edges. Ah well.

Jason from performance used to be able to get them. I think they have a replica of it.

 

I am pretty sure that even the real nismo J-Spec front facisa is fiberglass. I am 100% sure that the replica Jason sells is fiberglass. The US-Spec nismo front lip is urethane. As much as I like the J-Spec fascia, I didn't trust myself with a fiberglass front so I went with the US-Spec lip.

 

Alang is correct... my Nismo front bumper, side skirts, rear wing and rear under pods are all FRP pieces (from Nismo Japan)... not urethane! But FRP does not equal to Fibre Glass though.... FRP is better than just fibre glass.

I checked japanparts.com and it said they are frp.
They want 800+ usd for the bumper. Thats not bad but then again you have
to figure it will cost about 300 to ship it ( if not more).

 

Do any of you guys have a picture of the U.S. spec front lip? I'm debating over just the lip or just to get the whole front bumper. I know ABS dynamics makes a "knock-off", but I really don't know how the quality is for the set. Any help would be appreciated.

If you really dont like that lil flat "fringe", just have a body shop cut/shave that off. The kit is fiberglass, so can just be shaved. But remember the kit is out of stock till end of may.

 

Hey guys thanks for the replies. Damnit I am afraid of fiber glass. Even FPR which I think is Plastic reinforced. Injected with something similar to urethane to toughen it up. Anyhow I am going to talk to my bodyshop guy sometime next week. I think the Do-Luck chopped would flow very nicely. I'm not too worried about the back order. I'd rather wait 2 months than just get a lip . Plus car is going to be a garage queen even for the majority of the summer. A year old and 7000 miles. Baby....

I can get a hold of the side sills and the rear valances, i'm just waiting on a price for the front bumper. Btw, what is the front bumper made of? ABS Dynamics makes a replica, but I'm leaning towards the real deal.
