Next time do a search. Any questions you might have someone probably already thought of it and ask it. Here is someone with aftermarket HID and LED markers. LINK~~~>https://my350z.com/forum/showthread....&highlight=HID

I have gone the ebay route in the past. There is no reason to pay dealer prices for hid bulbs. They are way over priced. You can get the same exact product while saving a lot of $.

As far as brightness is concerned, the OEM 4300k is the best route. They're made by Philips (a reliable brand). Anything higher (6000k, 8000k, etc.), you'll get a deeper blue/purple tint, but the lumens are also decreased. But if you don't care about brightness, then I'd suggest something around 8500k. The Philips that are sold on eBay are mostly 4300k, and they offer them at an unbeatable price.

Default best looking color (similar to audi'bulb)

I used to have LiteGlo 8000k on my prelude. Last the longest (2-3 years) no problem. and I think they come with life time bulb warr.

sometimes I wish that Z head light should be the same as MAXIMA projector... they look super hot.. (wicked purple)

Here are some of my HID bulbs..
I didn't like the Yellow/White mix of the stock OEM
I did lose quite a bit of lighting.

Default crappy lights

been driving the z for almost 3 weeks. I just got out of a 2000 audi a4. I would have thought that for a car with a window sticker of 35,800 we woudl get better lighting. The lights in my audi blow these away! the quaily of the entire car seams to be lacking, granted it looks great and has a good motor, i just expected more!
