Liquid Aluminum was a color offered on the '04 model only (just as the Brickyard color was offered on the '03 only). Yes, it had an $1100 optional charge for the paint. As for only 4 in the states....since it was sold for a full year, the dude was jerking your chain....must have been a Nissan salesman - ha! (some are notorious for talking out their butt)

Regardless, it was an optional color so there are going to be less of them on the street. Good lookin' color - enjoy your new Z!!!

thanks.....one other question.....it has the factory small "fin" on the rear deck lid, is that glued on or screwed in, the reason why im asking is because i love the nismo wing, but was told i cant install it on a car that has the factory wing on it already. Any ideas?

It is screwed down. You could remove it and then put on the NISMO.

no. rear deck lid is screw+double side tape.
it comes off but not easy and has 4 screw holes. genuine nismo spoiler will not cover 2 outside holes. (only replica covers those).
i have genuine nismo spoiler and my bodyshot fill up 2 holes and repainted whole hatch...

There are other spoilers that fit right over top. I think Datasystems (spelling?) makes one. Yancy has one. Looks great and he put it right over top.

if you don't mind, how much did they charge for everything? i plan on getting a nismo wing and it would be nice to get an idea have how much it will cost total.

thank you,
Dan

ok..next topic.....i have the touring with the 240w bose audio system. I had read about it in different car mags....."sounds like an am clock raido" seamed to be the best thing they could say about it! The question is i have a 2000 audi a4 with the bose audio system also, as it turns out there are hidden eq settings in the radio. I forgot exactly how to access them, something like hold the power button down with holding the scan button down, anyway it made a hugh difference! Anyone ever hear of that for the 350?.....it really sounds bad!
