How hard is it to actually get under the dash and do that? Also, what about the plug there... do you run that thru the hole and into the door?

I received my door panels... thank you. However, I have a few questions as to why there were designed as they are. They don't match up to the door completely (at first glance) as I would have hoped. There is a section that is rounded off or cut short so to say. So it doesn't cover the door completely. Any comments?

the decah kit i bought came with extensions for all the door wiring. the company that installed my doors ended up cutting the wires and using the extensions that came with the kit. plenty of slack left even when the doors are all the way up.

as for pricing, i was charged 1400 in labor and paint and took 2 weeks to complete. the kit ran 1300 from aspecmotorsports, but i dont recommend them. terrible to deal with.

im curious to see what you mean by the panel doesnt go to the end of the door. im sure they had to shave a considerable amount for clearance, but how much are we talking?

Just wanted to share some pics of my GT Factory Diablo kit. I am still waiting on the custom panels, but am very satisfied with the look.

Thanks. Installation ran about $1,500 (kit cost additional $950.00). The windows work normal even when the doors are up (from either the key fob or the door controls) The doors open normally about two feet and then go up. There is a great video of how they work on TunerRacing.com

how bad is it not having door panals? how much are they going to come out to? just couriso do you have any close up pics of the door panels?? i'm seriously thinking about getting those doors but of course after installtion i won't have anything left so i'm just thinking about leaving it just like that for awhile if it's not too bad of course...

I didn't drive mine without door panels... and even the door panels I did just buy aren't all that easy to put on. I'm still trying to get them to work. I'll post pics as soon as I make it happen.

Mine are not completely vertical but clear the garage inside (can't drive in with them open). I think it is easier to get in and out of than the regular door. Not to bad driving without the panels, kind of a pain to close the door with nothing to hold on to (I roll the windows down and use the door frame)

The hinges are pretty strong but I wouldn't want to put the extra force on them by driving with them open.

Fast forward now I reiceved the door panels last week and what you know after I installed EVREYTHING and put the fenders back on, IT RUBS!! because I have the TS widebody kit on my Z, and before I ordered the kit and I asked about 5 diff guys if I can still install the kit since I have a widebody and they said it doesnt matter...now Im really pissed off...

I have to sell the kit asking 750.00 and the door panels FB 465.00(just as I paid thru tuner racing) if anybody wants this pm me

the kit is adjustable isn't it? they couldn't adjust the hinge to where it didn't rub at all even tho it may not open all the way up?

they tried everything, they were talking about taking 3rd off of the hinge where it wont rub, but problem with that is that it wont be safe so Im not taking that risk..
