chaseraero, from the sounds of it, your door panels are not a perfect fit. how much is this going to cost in labor to instal?

I have the door panels from Chaseaero. I bought the fiberglass ones. I had a few doubts when I bought them a prefit. They are very thin and at first glance you'll have your doubts. I have since fit them on and had them wrapped in leather. I've modified them a bit. Instead of putting the interior vent and handle I put a 6" screen. The vent won't work in there so I figure why use it. I'll post pics when I get a chance.

Sorry to jump in guys but are you saying by doing this Vertical door kit you can't use the stock interior door panels? I am trying to figure this out as I have seen many kits that people still retain stock interior door panels.

Any shed light would be greatly appreciated.

The GT Factory kit has 90 degrees of vertical motion, however the 350Zs stock interior door panels hit at about 50 degrees (50 degrees is about how much all other kits open) with the GTF door panels and GTF diablo kit you can open your doors a full 90 degrees straight up in the air.
Wow Good things, so what does the kit along with fb door panels run then?
Can the FB door panes just be painted? (for more of a show look)

And lastly life expectancy on something like this? I imagine uses some type of shocks or pistons.

Hey man I'm not sure where in AZ you are but I'm in Tempe... I'm a shop here and I just put the door panels on my car... they aren't mounted completely yet but I just had them covered in Leather to match the interior with a 6" screen where the vent would be. They look awesome.

Ok here are some pics.

No making fun of all the crap in my car as we are working on it. You'll see a relative idea of how these door panels fit. Remember they are not fastened to the door they are only placed on there.

thats a cool idea with the screen in the door panel. finished product should look pretty sweet.

the panels look a little weird when your outside looking in, but i guess its the best solution available for now.

be sure to post some pics of the finished product.
