Default Emblem questions - need a few answers

I am planning on making a custom emblem to replace the Nissan Badge on the rear. Basically, I need to know if the backing of the badge (the side that will attach to the car) can be flat...or if it needs to be rounded slightly just like the rear is. Also...which is the best type of double sided tape to use and where might I find some. Thanks.

What kind of custom emblem? As for the contour, I'm not sure but if you place the edge of a woodedn ruler on the hatch just below the OEM emblem I think you'll be able to figure it out. Or you could buy one at www.courtesyparts.com and use it as a template. Or just remove your OEM 1 and use it as a template.

Well...what I want to put on there will have to be grinded down on the back and then attatched with double-sided tape. Or maybe I could heat it up and put a bend in it.

Oh, I forgot. 3M tape is what is used by most for applying emblems & even body kits. My guess is you should be able to pick some up at just about any auto parts store or a local body shop.

I like the Raider okay. The 49er's too. But I'm from the midwest originally and a die hard Steelers fan!

LOL. Somehow I knew you'd say that.

Miss the days of "The Snake" & Bradshaw, who I hated when they drafted him in 72. He was such a baffoon. Obviously I grew to love him.

It is slightly curved, it's definitely not straight. I just replaced my emblems & they definitely have a slight curve.
