Default Nismo Shift ****? Who has it? Feedback please...

Hey all,

I'm looking at purchasing the Nismo Shift titanium shift ****. The cylindrical shaped one.

1. How do you like the feel of this ****? Compared to stock?
2. Any gripes/complaints?
3. Does it become loose over time?

Thanks!

I have it and it feels awesome. The titanium feels silky smooth. It gets a little hot after being parked under the sun for a while. It looks even better, adds a real sporty look. Ergonomically speaking, it does not feel as comfortable as the stock leather shift ****, which is a very good ****. Because of this, I have been contemplating the Titanium GT ****, which is the one with the screw on top. It is fatter so it probably feels closer to stock, plus the screw on top matches my LMGT4 rims.

Installation was easy and it feels solid. I've had it for about 6,000 mi now.

I believe I have the GT Rubber one. It's the black small GT ****. Compared to stock it feels much much better. Since it is smaller and in a cylinder I do feel I have more control over the shifts and they do feel more precise. I like the look of the black **** on black boot, it looks smooth and DOESN'T get hot after sitting in the Texas sun.

I agree, the stock shifter feels VERY comfortable in hand during shifting. I have the Ti GT shift **** and had the Nismo Chrome Aluminum one before that. The Ti **** feels a lot better to shift than the thin chrome one... I like to top shift, and the Ti **** allows that to a certain degree.

I have the black metal shaft one and I love it. It definitely doesn't get loose over time. It does get really hot in the sun, but I can take it. I want to change to the titanium one that is the same shape.

I did just recently get this one pictured below though. It feels awesome like it belongs in your hands and doesnt get near as hot as the Titanium. It is made of Stainless Steel. I believe that Sharif has a couple left to sell. Check out this thread if interested:

That looks like the Nismo Ti GT **** to which I was referring. But I can't be sure because 1) I've never seen the base of the ****, and 2) I can't see the top of the shifter which should have a screw or hex opening that sort of matches the LMGT4 rims.

Here are some pics of the Nismo Chrome Aluminum and the Nismo GT Ti ****. The finisher that you see in the last picture came from the Chrome Aluminum ****'s package.
