Default vertical door installs, cost, fender rolling?

anyone know the cost of an install? rough estimates of rolling fenders? i did a search but couldnt find any install costs. i know some people did this themselves. but im concerned about the fender rolling and the wiring in the doors. any info would be great

AFAIK there are a few kits out there that dont require fender rolling at all. 2hrs per door install time.

do a google search and see what comes up.

All kits require you to roll or shave part of the fender. It's the only way it will fit. No big deal really. Pick up the July issue of Performance Auto and Sound Magazine. There is a nice write up on how to install these. No need to extend wires either.

My install was done by a shop that took their time to get it exactly right...cost was $500 to install. It took them 4 days.

I believe McDuck did his in 2 days.

I'll try to translate...Are you talking about motorized vertical doors that go up by themselves then go down by themselves? They do make those. Only problem with motorized doors is that it will probably take a minute or two to lift and lower the doors. The actuators they use are pretty slow. Most vertical door kits require you to manually raise them up and lower them down.
