I ordered a Veilside V1 urethane front lip back in March from Gruppe-S and have been calling them once a month to get updates.

I finally get an email this morning telling me they finally received it, so I drove 60 miles round trip to go pick it up and it turns out to be a fiberglass one...

I'm pissed. They called Veilside and were told the urethane ones are on back order for another couple of weeks. That's what they said in March...

 

Thats terrible I feel for you I was told two weeks for my body kit back in April then I hear last week the kits are here and haven't hear anything since then.

Must be somethin in the air.

 

Update: Max from Gruppe-S called Veilside again on my request and explained the mixup hoping we would have priority over all the new orders. They said they actually have some PU lips right now and should be able to ship one tomorrow...

I'll believe it when I see it.

 

That sucks! I have a nice story similar to this to post about Stillen when I feel up to it. Gruppes are good guys I have done business with them before I'm sure they will do all they can.

 

Dont worry about it man, youll get it eventually, i know its hard to be patient tho.

 

GS will get it squared away I am sure, but if you strike out, shoot me a pm....might be able to help

Thanks Adam. I got a call from Gruppe-S and this time they checked the lip and swear it is the urethane one. I am picking it up in the next couple of hours. If it is the wrong lip again, I'll let you know.

hmmm. i was at the veilside office last week. they had them in stock... i was debating on buying one.

 

I just picked it up and it was the correct lip this time.

Gruppe-S had only ordered mine, so they don't have any more. That's probably for the best though because their customer service skills suck. I will never do business with them again.

 

From what I heard from Japan. Veilside just close down this month. But who knows. They might be back up like Top Secret.

never heard that. they just came out w/ several new kits and they were pretty busy when i stopped by last, so i don't see that happening anytime soon.
