why bride? because of the JDM factor or do they weigh less or more comfortable or stronger?

Be aware they may look nice, but they have no official approval from FIA, SCCA or anything. If they used cheap carbon, most likely they did by the price of them, They will shatter if you get hit or put too much force (ie. wreck) on them.

I would honestly go with a good Recaro SPG or Bride Zeta seat. Those are tested and approved.

A quick note about seats. Never purchase an off brand. In the unlikely event of an accident, you'll want all the support you can get. Recaro, Sparco, Bride, have spent many hours in R&D, that includes crash testing.

Safety vs. Price. That is why some show cars go with wet carbon fiber hoods for $200 and GTC, JTCC use all dry carbon, vacumm or freezer sealed methods - upwards of $2000 per hood. Wet carbon is for eye candy, dry carbon is the real weight savers.

Just my 2 cents.

those seats are fine, they're made from the same place as the mugen and vision seats are made... so its the same mold and everything, just the name change and saves you like 700 bucks

They're popular among the Honda crowd. I know another member on this forum who has them. They're nice but look sort of small to me for a Z33.

your saying these seats are equavilent to Mugen?

Mugen would not share any tooling. I don't know where everyone is getting this info.

It maybe molded from a Mugen seat, but this is NOT is not a Mugen seat and defitnatley not Mugen tooling.

judging from this pic:
http://images.memoryfab.com/image_ac...hp?id=4&prid=1

That is hand laid cf. The price you pay is also wet cf (eye candy). Mugen does not use 3K carbon pattern anyways.

Might a well save yourself some $$$ and purchase the fiberglass version. The CF serves no purpose in this context.
