Default '06 LED Taillights - Night Pics

Finally got my '06 taillights and install was a breeze (just like Jason @ performance said)
My Z is a 2003 model and everything installed just fine.

so here are pics:

both '06 lights:


both '06 lights with the brakes on:


a close up pic:


and here are the sockets that you have to remove from the '03 wiring harness.
once these are removed, everything will fit perfectly in the '06 light.

be prepared to wait though, i hear that you have to wait till mid-nov for a new shipment and there is an existing waiting list as well.

they are just those polarg hyperwhite bulbs for the license plate lights.

you can get them off ebay:

Now i don't remember if the 03-05 tails had that bottom reflector area lighting up... but it looks like they do on the 06 tails. Not sure if i like that... there's the individual led clusters up top, an then some diffused behind that reflector at the bottom. Haven't seen it in person, but does it look "not right"?
