Default halogen to xenon electrical plug adapter

Hello, I bought a couple OEM xenon headlight assemblies to replace my base Zs halogens. After pulling the bumper cover and the wheel well linings, I discovered that the halogen plug has six prongs and the xenon has eight prongs. Dammit! Anyone know how to convert or replace these plugs? Thanks for your help.

I am in the same boat, did you ever find out how to do this? and what year headlights did you get for your base?

I figured it the same day i posted the above repsonse. They still work beautifully!!! It was straight forward, i spliced the new harness HID headlights into the stock plug (using wire taps) you just have to think about how this wire went to this wire on the plug with the old headlight so it must be the same and it is!
