Default how much for used airbags?

Hey, I was wondering what you guys would pay for a set of used front airbags (D&P) with the passenger side cover. There is a guy on ebay selling a set for $1600, and I think that is outrageous! Maybe Im retarded..lol

I'm willing to pay my insurance deductable for a set of new airbags (only if I needed them, and presumably that deductable would go towards some front end bodywork as well).

I wouldn't pay jack **** for a set of used ones.

The point I think he's trying to make is that he wouldn't buy used airbags. You see, airbags cannot be used more than once. It's a play on your words. You are buying airbags out of a used car, not used airbags. At least that's what I assume. If you buy used airbags for $1,600 you are truly one of the biggest suckers out there.

lol........I didnt understand what he was talking about. Yes, that would be stupid to buy "used" airbags......I already have a set of those....lol. But 1600 for un-blown airbags is still high I think......right?

compare prices, go to your dealer and see that new airbags run, I remember they used to be around $5000 but prices change so much who knows. I honestly wouldn't buy something like that over ebay though..

Airbag theft is pretty common from what I hear. Just one of many reasons I wouldn't touch any airbags from ebay.
