Cool Those Lights

There was a brief discussion about those lights on the 350Z TECH forum. When someone had asked about those unique looking head lights, thinking they were some type of LEDs - -

This reply followed:
"No they're not LED, they are gatling gun projectors (a group of smaller lenses making one in a sense).

They are retro'd into the stock housings replacing the stock projector/reflector combo.

If you like the blue that they produce, you will need to retro in new projecotrs like those out of an s2000. The cutoff shield they have produces a nice color in the cutoff and a nice flicker too."

nice info- anyone know if they can be bought or ordered anywhere?

Also- at closer look, on the first z, with those cool lights and the ings lip... those are NOT hella FF50's they are too small... that silver Z has big round lights. Just incase there was confusion because for a minute i thought someone was trying to say they were those type.

Cool This may become my next project

I can certainly see why there may be some confusion. There are a number of cool Z pics that I had posted for everyone's perusal. However, to be more precise - just count the posted pics and it is the sixth posted 'light' photo that shows the Hella FF50's.

I'm looking at Autozone, but can't find them. I even did a web search and can't find them.
