That is awesome. I see the speedo and RPM is different than stock. Is it calibrate correctly? If so great freaking job, it looks amazing. I alway love custom work.

Thanks MyV6! Yeah, all the gauges are different than stock. Alex from Blackcat Customs said that he could do that design and being that no one else that I've seen has it, I wanted it. A lot of people are just getting the stock design with a different combo of colors. I forgot to post the day pics but they are silver so the visibility during the day as well as at night is perfect. The only part that doesn't compare to stock is the digital speedo display during the day. It's quite dim but still readable. As far as it being calibrated correctly...It seems to be. I did exactly as the guide stated and it wasn't very difficult.

Read your post! That's insane! I don't even want ot know how you had that wacky idea to change the stock LEDs to luxeon! I never thought about having white gauges but I like it. It makes it look high end! If I ever get sick of the blue I think I will change it to white. But not luxeon!! How long did that take you?

Heheh thanks! You left the "/" on the second quote command :-P

It took a couple days to get the job done. In reality, it took about 4 days. I had to cut up the plastic so the wires could fit inside without bending the board.

The "blackout" face design used a blue filter for the numbers, so it really cut down the brightness (I really wanted clear). Replacing the LEDs with white did not work well at all, so I epoxied a single Luxeon side emitters and wired them up. I can make it a tad dimmer because it is still pretty darn bright at night, but it would've killed daytime viewing.

The OIL and VOLT meters definitely a DEFI-BF look for less than the cost of 1 DEFI-BF gauge. :-)

BTW, I calibrated the speedo and tach by making sure that at 25mph, it is 2500 rpm.
