Default bulb question?

does anyone know the bulb that is under the amber reflector in the headlight? i recently cleared out my lights to a clear reflector and now it looks really weak at night with the stock bulb. want to go with something brighter to light up the clear strip a little better.

thanks

Don't use LEDs in there; they won't be bright at all, since it's the side of the bulb that lights it up.

Hmm, I tried the 9 LED 168 bulbs from SuperbrightLEDs.com and they just didn't get the job done b/c of the direction of the beam; they just didn't light up the strip as much (amber strip).

What is the difference between a 168 and 194 bulb? I've been looking for an answer and haven't been able to find one.

Yep the Superlumination.com's suck. They will burn out due to the heat in the headlight housing. I bought a set from ARES (member) and they are awesome. A year later and I have no problems.
