the price was a complete guess based on what the regular lights cost. let me get a real price, perhaps I underestimated.

Do you think these can be opened similar to the headlights?

If so....a set of those with the chrome housing painted black would look sweet.

Let me know when you get a price....if it's below $400 count me in. I would NEVER pay over $400 for taillights though. I can't believe that Perf. Nissan and others are charging over $500! CRAZY!

lol Im gonna look pretty silly if its 600$ or something. I just picked a number that seemed reasonable, it was totally out of thin air though. I should know by tomorrow morning.

just to let you know these retail on Nissan Japan website for 51,800 YEN which is equal to about $442.50 US. That ought to give a better estimate.

It suck so bad that these are that expensive. I want these sooo bad and I was gonna buy these, open them up, paint the chrome area black and have some KICK @$$ taillights but I don't wanna make a $500+ mistake if I mess up.

well they quoted me the same price as nissan says, about 445$ depending on the exchange rate. that doesnt include shipping over here though. itd probably end up being 500$-525$ after shipping, tarrifs ect.

In the coming months I expect some companies to start making these in the US and hopefully in black.
