Default Veilside V1 lip

I'm thinking of buying this Lip (urethane) in a few months and wanted to get some owners feedback on fitment, quality and possibly a few pictures. Thanks.

Just put one on my Z a few weeks ago. Fitment and quality is top notch. Love it; adds that little extra something the front needs to give the car an overall more agressive look without going over the top.

I put mine on two years ago, it still looks great despite a number of hits and parking curb scrapes on the underside.

Urethane is definitely the way to go - it's way more flexible than FRP and CF so it doesn't easily crack on impact, and it's easy to manipulate to get a great fit. Any tiny fitment gaps are easily closed with a little heat and bending. I also recommend putting a tiny screw in the inside fender well edge (easy in my case with a black car).

I went with the FRP since I got a great deal from a local member, however I probably would have gone with the Urethane if I could do it again.

Whats wrong with your FRP? Looks good from here. Are there gaps or issues you wanna address?

nothing wrong with FRP, but here on hawaii's roads its pretty much inevitable that you'll end up scraping the bottom of your lip. there's too many potholes and poorly designed parking lots and driveways. mine hasn't cracked yet, but the bottom of it is pretty beat up, plus its got a significantly higher amount of chips than the rest of my bumper and I'm sure urethane would produce less.

I'll get FRP just because its $100 cheaper than the Urethane and it really isn't that much stronger than the FRP in my opinion. If it was poly-urethane or ABS plastic, I'd change my mind.

As for fitment, I've never heard of any issues with REAL Veilside V1 lips. Knock-offs and replica's your on your own.

Lastly, I think the V1 is the best lip option out there for the Z. It looks great when paired with Nismo sideskirts.

I've got one in Urethane and it doesnt fit so good. I barely got it on.

The middle peice that overlaps the stock bumer is too short leaving small gaps and making it very hard to install.

Veilside was supposed to contact me when another batch was made, but surprise, nothing has happened. Intense Power was also supposed to get in touch, but nothing.

The lip looks great from a distance, but up close the gaps are visable. I love the lip, just wish it would fit like it's suppsed to. I had a cheap pos lip before and it actually fit better.
