Is this for the H7 bulb types on the Base model 350Z...? Or is it for the ones that come with HID from the factory? (DS2 or DSR bulbs)

If you are willing to spend $210 for some H7 bulbs your nuts! I would say they are the HID bulbs.

These are for the HID bulbs. The seller is XenonFactory.com. This will be the second time we have done a group buy with them. The first time we had over 40 members purchase them and everything went very smoothly.

The original price is $280 shipped. Group buy rates are for either the D2R or D2S is $210 shipped.

Any other questions feel free to ask.

Thanks

This is underway. Xenon factory is accepting credit card and paypal prepayments. Once we have 10 people prepaid he will ship out the bulbs. Credit cards will NOT be charged until we have the first 10 people.

Instructions are at this link.

Im all for updating and upgrading things, but for some reason I do not see the benefit. Can someone show me what is much better about these lights because im missing the point. Being an HID enthusiast, I don't want to miss out on anything cool. Thanks.

Technically speaking there is nothing better about them, in fact, they produce slightly less usable light than stock. You are basically buying them for the color. If you dont love the way they look, your best bet is to stay stock.

Stock have a nice blue to them while warming up. Once they get up to operating temperature, they loose most of that blueness...

Just got mine today after UPS refused to leave them on my door yesterday (sig required). They produce a nice color. I can see why people "think" they are brighter, the color in the area being lit is much more noticable, but I wouldnt mistake that for being "brighter".

That metal contraption that holds the HID bulb inside the headlamp housing was interesting to say the least. Heres a couple pics i snapped:
