Ya I would do it myself, just not hot about the idea of buying more stuff.

Also I was just talking about a dealer b/c maybe there prices would be a bit better since they are offered discounts.

So if we tried to custom fabricate one of these for our self only, would that be breaking any copy write laws?

Also does anyone know what it would cost to get the handles shaved, after install, parts, and paint?

I'm really interested in getting Magic Touch for my car, but although I've emailed and posted a request for information, I have not recieved a response. It's increasingly frustrating, and it's honestly starting to make me angry . I don't think that's the way to get someones business.

I tried to email them several times too and their dealers in my area and they don't respond. I even tried contacting Westcoast Customs but its to hard to get a hold of them. I want to do this mod really bad. I guess they don't care for are business. I wanted to order but if they don't respond to my questions and concerns how can I trust them. I don't want to waste 800+ and then find out it dosen't work.

The company's idea of a group buy is 10% off, so it's still $800..

aka Not Worth that Much Money

This item is definitely a fad. More than likely, this company won't be around that long. And, judging from their lack of response to emails, etc. customer service is definitely lacking. It's definitely a "neat" mod, but definitely not worth the price they're asking. It also doesn't sound like any of their "resellers" are very reputable either since they also don't respond to inquiries. You'd think with the amount of cars on this forum, the large interest in their product and the newness of their market presence that they would want to work with us more.

I don't thing it would be hard to make one of these yourself. the hardest part would be cutting the plastic just right and sanding it down to look OEM. As long as you don't try to sell them you should ok!

wanna know what would really rock?? Magic Touch Lambo doors. or Magic Touch gull wing doors. then you could just touch the thingy and get slapped in the face by your own car.
seriously, that is pretty nifty though.

Neat, but I think it would drive me nuts seeing all those accompanying finger/palm/hand prints on a nicely polished door.

Thats why you tell people who ride in your car to use there knuckle!

When I clean my car now, I make them push on the inside part of the handle to close they door so they dont get finger prints all over the part everyone sees!
