Default for cars without Bose

I was wondering what comes behind the drivers seat, where the bose sub would be, on the non bose equiped cars? Is it just like the passenger compartment? Or is there just a cover on it?

Is this cover easy to remove? And what is behind it? is it just wasted space or can i get another "glove box" to put in there? If so can a dealership get it for me yet or do i hace to wait till more parts are available? thanks

I think the person would have to be about 4ft tall for that to work.

It looks like it was made for seats - g35 coupe frame is the same as ours almost?

That cover just pops off.

I don't see why you couldn't add another glove box back there. Couple of probs, though. First, the glove box attaches in the rear of the box with 2 screws to a metal plate. This metal plate is only found in the passenger side compartment. #2 is the latch mechanism to lock the glove box shut is also held in with 2 screws that are screwed into the sheet metal. The plastic is easy to remove, though. To get everything out, start by unscrewing and removing the center console (1 screw under the ashtray and 2 on either side towards the rear of the center console). Remove rear quarter panels (underneath those small windows). With these rear panels removed the cover to the glove box and sub compartments is simply held in place with those little plastic clips. Just pull it out gently until it comes loose. The cigarette lighter has a connection that has to be undone to completely remove the cover. The sides of the glove box and sub cover will not come out unless those rear quarter panels come out first (again held in only with those plastic clips) Hope this helps ya...
