Default *2006* headlight turn signal/parking light bulbs

Has anybody cleared out their front 2006 headlights by getting LED bulbs for the parking lights and turn signals?

I changed my amber signal ligths to clear ones. Got the bulbs from Kregan. Just squeezed my fingers in there to install. Tight fit, but it can be done. Took me about 5 mins.

Thanks for the reply, but I know you can do it easily on 03-05's. I was seeing if anybody had done this to a 2006 Z. The headlights and bulbs are totally different so I didn't know if it was possible like it is on the 03-05's

I'm not doing the LED route, but instead I ordered chrome bulbs today. I'll let you know how the install goes.

Install on the front takes about 10 minutes in all. Just loosen the main headlight housing screw, so you can have a little more wiggle room. Did this last night...no probs at all.....drew

What about the little orange LEDs, did you change them too?

I replaced my parking bulbs with pia led. The led are whiter but not as bright as stock. I read that leds don't last long, if my pia last for many years than it is worth it. From what i have read it's not worth putting leds into the turn signal because the light isn't as bright.

Yeah I just put some PIAA Super-white wedge bulbs (not LED bulbs) into the parking lights. They light up pretty white, not bright at all but who needs parking lights anyway. But they do have a blue coating on the bulb so during the day my headlights aren't perfectly clear. I want to get some of those chromed Stealth bulbs for the turn signals though. I just hope I can get to the rear of the headlight housings to access the turn signals without having to drop the front bumper and remove the headlight assemblies.

Get the PIAA Wedge bulbs. These are the same for both generations. I have Blue/White for sale if you're interested. PM me for details.

LEDs should outlast the car.

I wanted to clear those 3 amber LEDs but cant seem to get them seperatly from the headlights to work with.
