I am super excited, you know how long we've been waiting to do this (search our old posts, way back till 03 and 04 we were talking about this haah).

Surely your car will be done--even the utmost perfectionist would be done in two weeks IMO. Over that and your guy is just SLOW...I can't wait to see the finished product, shoudl be impressive. Can you hit me about the tinting we discussed (shipping them to you etc etc).

haha...EVENTUALLY it will get done...right now I'm stuck driving a 1992 Mazda MPV! But no, it's not all bad. At least I can recline the seat for a lunch-time nap! lol

But as for tinting, including the reverse? Or just the tails? I'll find out for you tomorrow.

 

Tails only, but for the most part (97%) my shop will just do it.

I really like the tasteful way you have gone about choosing this bodykit. I love the taillight tint as well...it is just the right amount; not the obnoxious level some people take it to. Very nice! Subscribing for the fresh-out-of-the-shop pics.

Thanks guys for the comments! I was thinking of actually taking a day off and picking it up Friday, but we have a mandatory meeting at work that I can't miss! Maybe I'll just take off early to pick up the car then...we'll see.

More pix will definately come in the next few days! It's always more fun to see pictures then here someone talk about stuff happening. I will probably go ahead and start another thread for actual pix (vs. installation pix) and I'll post a link here.

In terms of color-match, I honestly don't have a clue how close it is since my car was several feet away and he didn't want me to touch the pieces just yet. I do think the match will be pretty good, though, since Hiro usually does an awesome job!

Will: what car did you take in? I saw a few G35 sedans, a couple of G35C's, but I don't recall seeing another Z? What work are you looking to get done?
