INGS LX/Half Kit: Received and Being Installed *PIX*
Well, as several of you guys may know, I had always wanted to get the INGS LX kit on my car. I just loved the way this kit looked, but for some reason, not many people had this kit. I started doing some searching and price comparisons and I soon learned that the reason nobody really bought the kit was because it was so darn expensive! Well, I searched for replicas, but I realized that was not the right path to take. Instead, I thought I'd save my money and put only quality parts on my car.
So finally, I decided that it was time to order my kit back in October 2005. I got a paint estimate done and discussed with my painter/installer how much everything could be done for. Then I searched for a place that could get my an Authentic kit in Hybrid Aero, and I finally found that place in November 2005, and left the shop a deposit. Well, my kit took forever to arrive here (as is generally the case when you order any geniune JDM Parts). Of course, by the time I finally got my kit in, it seemed like a bunch of people ordered replicas of the kit. It's all good since I possibly would have done the same if I hadn't ordered. But I'm glad I went with the Authentic because it is INCREDIBLY light! I honestly could not believe how light it was, yet it had the same flex as polyurethane!
I dropped off my car on April 3 and here I am now without my car for almost 2 weeks, and I'm really anxious to see the final results! But I know that the guy who is installing it is going to do a remarkable job, and I won't lie to you, I had to pay an equally remarkable (read: HIGH!) price. I chose to get my work done at Sixteen Customs in Gardena, CA since I know that the guy there (Hiro) does an awesome job. Two weeks before my car was there, he completed HKS's Evo (put on a C-West kit), and now while my car is there, he is working on the C-West/ZeroSun G35 demo car (for C-West USA). So I know his work is top notch! I figured the whole project was only going to take about 10 days to do, but I guess it's taking a bit longer to get done. Of course, Hiro is a super-meticulous Japanese guy (he's JDM, yo!) and likes to make sure everything is absolutely flawless. He even looked at my spoiler and found a very small flaw in the paint (this was installed LAST summer), and he mulled over what he can do to fix it. He then suggested to me that he will do what he can, and he'll probably go ahead and repaint it for me as well! Then when I pointed out some various rock chips around the car, he said not to worry, and that he would go around the car make sure the car left his shop flawless!
Anyways, I basically I bought the INGS LX kit in Hybrid Aero. So I am getting the front lip, side skirts, and rear valance painted. Also, I bought a new OEM front bumper that he can repaint (mine had chips on it), and he agreed to repaint my rear bumper for the sake of consistency, since the OEM paint on the bumper didn't really much the rest of the body (stupid Nissan...). Also, he agreed to semi-smoke my OEM 2006 LED taillights and rear bumper lights.
I know I told many of you guys that I would be posting pix of the install/progress, but I just didn't have time until now. Well, here are the pix thus far!

Thanks guys. The rear spoiler is also ings, but I had that one for almost a year. Yeah, and I want to get it back quick, but at the same time I understand that you don't want to rush the body shop since he wants to make sure it's perfect. And the above picture is about right...except no Brembo's for me (plus the spoiler is different and my taillights are going to be nearly stock color, just barely darker).

Ravi, when you getting yours in? I guess our convo ended short last night, so I don't recall you telling me when it's in!
I'll be updating with more pix on Tuesday. He actually said I can pick it up on Tuesday, but he said he wants to make sure the paint has some time to cure before installing to ensure that the paint won't accidentally get damaged! So I was looking at probably Friday, but now I see there's a chance for rain!!! Oh well...what's another 3 days!

Looking Good!!! Your photos reminds me of an anxious father looking at his newborn through the glass of a neonatal unit Definitely show us the final pix when it is all done. We "brothers" should then get together and take some photos

My bad about that =/ I had to freak chicks last night LMAO
Anyway, the front lip should be here this week, still havent sourced the rear, and I'm getting worried =( If you can help me find one in FG I'd greatly appreciate it. I dont want to spend more than 300 shipped for the rear.

P.s. Your guy's parent's didnt sleep around did they? That would explain a lot ahahahha

As for the rear, I'll see if I can find anything. Did you contact Nick? I'm assuming his is FG and it seemed to fit pretty good. But if I get any info, I won't hessitate to contact you, of course!
And yeah, I'm down for a photo shoot! Just make sure all our cars are ready by then...
Yeah, our parents probably did sleep around...maybe yours included! Except you went the way of DB!
