wtf! nismo shift ****...

So I just bought a nismo shift **** and the middle part freaking spins...! is it supposed to do that or what? If you grab it with even the slightest grip, you can rotate it the middle carbon fiber part. This is supper annoying when trying to shift fast!

Does the top of that **** screw off to release the carbon sleeve? If it does, take off the carbon sleeve, put a couple of drops of super glue to keep it from spinning or something. Or a less less messy method,.. you could wrap some tape arond the metal part of the ****, just enough so you can wedge fit the carbon sleeve to the **** to keep it from spinning.

i experienced the same thing with my nismo CF ****. i even tried wedging some dental floss or fishing line between the CF sleeve and the top. but it didnt work. it was a really cool **** but the rattle at high RPM's irratated me so bad i sold it .

hmmm that's weird because I have this shift **** and I've yet to encounter this problem, guess some have it some don't.

that's suprising, considering it's a nismo piece. i wouldn't expect that from them.

If you can remove it then apply epoxy of some sort to make it stick permanently.

the problem is while the CF sleeve piece is seperate from the ****, its not removeable in anyway.

i also noticed on mine you could twist its a few turns and it wouldnt budge, then other times you could turn it all day long

thats why i went with the nismo GT ****
