Tall 350z owners?
I'm seriously considering a 350z for my next car. However, I'm concerned that I won't be comfortable in it. The reason for this is that I am 6'6" tall. I test-drove one at the dealer but since it only had 14 miles on it, we did a five minute test drive. I definitely fit in the car and can drive it just fine, but I just don't know how feasible a multi-hour drive would be. I'm wondering if there are any tall owners here who could speak about their experience.
Thanks in advance.
Jason
Btw - head room seems to be a non-issue (even with a helmet for the track days), leg room is the trickier part since I definitely have to sit closer to my feet than I am used to.

Well... I'm not 6'6", I'm 6'3" and only about a 33/34 inseam. I've taken mine on numerous trips between Seattle and Portland and about the only complaint I have is that the ride gets a bit bouncy on bad pavement. It's surprisingly quiet for a sports-y car, and all the other bonuses far outweigh any minor inconveniences I've had to put up with. It's an absolute blast to drive as an everyday car!

I'm 6'1" with a 34" inseam. Around town, I feel great in the car. On longer trips, I wish I had an inch or more leg room.
Also, the way I bend my leg on my touring puts my thigh against the seat adjustment switches, which is a bit annoying. They should have put those on the side or in the front. Bad design, IMO.
Models other than the touring don't have this problem, since they don't have the power controls.

Thanks for the responses so far. Still looking for any feedback from someone with similar height (my inseam is 36 and my height is 6'6") who has put serious and consistent mileage in a 350z. I'm just worried that after a while, I'll start getting very uncomfortable. My mother had a BMW Z3 for a while, that I could drive just fine and felt good in until after about 30 minutes when my back started aching painfully. I just don't want to buy a car that I can't be comfortable in for a while (I drive a lot). I just wish the 350Z had as much leg room as the Porsche 996. That is about the perfect size for me. I may yet have to find a nice used '99 996 instead

me, 6'5" with 35 inseam (***** to find the right pants) and I have driven from San Jose to LA a few times. The car is no problem at alll and I can even prop my left leg back a bit for the I-5 cruz!
I would not recomend this car to some one much taller than me.
I have found that placing the seat back all the way against the walll is worse than placing the seat back a bit more verticle and using the highest part of the roof
PM me if you have more questions.

Z G35coupe
42.6 legroom 43.8
38.2 headroom 39.2
52.6 shoulder room 53.7
you might get that extra inch your wanting. but the Z isnt too much smaller.
for comparison to what sports cars COULD be
the S2000
44.3legroom
34.6 headroom
50.2shoulder room.
actually suprised myself on how much legroom the S2000 actually has. but just some comparisons for you.

I'm 6'5" and I fit just fine. I just got back from an hour+ drive and feel just fine.
On the other hand, I gave my 6'4" brother a ride and his head was smashed into the roof liner
