Default remove rear blinker housing

anyone familiar with how to remove the rear blinker housings from the bumper? i spent forever trying to figure it out and i got one screw out but there is still something holding it in.

i searched also but had no luck. does the rear bumper have to be removed?

I think the rear bumper has to be removed, but maybe someone can fill in and confirm this.

I had to take the bumper off, I have a friend that works at a body shop and he took it off in like thirty seconds. I probably would have taken thirty minutes to figure it out.

Step 1 - tie rope to bumper
Step 2 - tie rope to truck
Step 3 - drive truck away from Z

Yeah, you have to remove the rear bumper to get to those lights. I have done it twice now and still takes me a while. Too bad you are in FL or I can probably help you. PM me your email and I can give you a few threads on other sites to help you remove the bumper.

are you guys freaking serious? your removing the whole rear bumper JUST to get to the signal/reverse lights??? LOL

The link you posted is for accessing the blinker/reverse lights (i.e. to change the bulbs). He is asking about removing the whole housing (i.e. for painting/smoking or changing them to Euro-spec ones). Totally different!
