Default Front Bumper Air duct and water

I recently read a few post about people hydrolocking their engines. Im glad I poted for the popcharger instead of some of the other systems. As I was checking out the air ducts that you install into the front bumper, I thought that might increase my chances of water entering the engine. Has anyone ever had a problem regarding those air ducts? More specifically with a pop charger and one of those ducts..

You would literally have to soak the filter in water before it goes through. Doubt that would happen.

i've heard the same thing... you would literally have to submerge the filter in order for it to inhale any water...

yeah the duct does not extend as far back as you think it does. Water would have to go into the duct....and then levitate like 5 inches diagonally into the filter. Once you see the duct installed you will understand.

not to mention hydrolocking the engine basically requires the whole filter to be submerged, droplets burn up and evapaorate before damage can be done
