GB on the new 350Z hood dampers/springs!
I finally finished the kit and think the results look great!
I've got a GB thread going on in the Vendor's GB forum. Head over there for all the info and more photos. Simply add yourself to the list if you are interested!
Please be sure to read the FAQ before asking questions! Thanks!

read the FAQ in the blue text at the bottom of the GB post. Assuming your CF hood bolts onto the bracket same as stock you should have no install problems. However, I dont have a CF hood (i have heard they are similar weight to stock), but the only problem I forsee is the strength of the CF hood when pressing down to close the hood. The gas springs exert a fair ammount of force close to the hood pivot point which might bend the CF hood...but again....I have no way of knowing.

I agree on the good deal. Even at the $90 price, this is still a good deal. at 15+....you wont find that deal anywhere for a kit like this! remember, this isnt a direct copy of the other kits...this is different and requires less modification to fit and has an easier install!

I do not have them online, but I do have them included with each kit.
It's rather simple really. Each side is symmetrical. Remove black plastic covers. Unbolt one side of the hood from the bracket, and slide in a stainless steel bracket. then unbolt one of the fender bolts and bolt in another SS bracket with supplied bolt, spacer, and nylon nut. Then fasten gas spring to each ball joint, and repeat for other side. Afterwords you may choose to trim the black plastic to fit around the shaft, melt the plastic, or keep the plastic removed. The reason this is easier than the "other" kits, is that with those you need to jack up each side of the car to bolt a stud under the wheel fender. I don't know about you, but it's a hassle to jack up my car all the time.
