Default Custom hatch I saw while at Nurburgring

The track was fun, and there were several z33's (three or four). Here are pics of the one with the different hatch. Looks like visibility would suck and the wing only makes it worse. Looked nice, though.

Wonder if there was some sort of wind tunnel testing that made them do that...

+1 I agree, but it's Nurburgring. I believe it's more like: not my stein of lager.

He must be one of those drivers that just starts merging over without looking. He might as well cover the portholes while he's at it.

Custom or does someone actually produce this? Wish there were more pics; from what I see, I like!

It is by Strosek , saw it on their site last week. I believe its carbon fiber. Seems to be some problem on the site right now.

Pic and info. prom their site:

Carbon Rear Hood

In addition to the significant weight savings achieved the ultra light carbon rear hood also means improved sight due to the vertical rear screen.

Looking for pricing...

I believe the car in the first pics IS Strosek's car (just with higher wing struts); it is painted the same way on their website.

I don't see what the problem is? Look at my attached graphic. The only difference would be in the angle of the glass, but you still would have the same vision space.

are the wings permanently on there? or added on? I would get it if it didn't have that humongous wing.
