I believe this has been discussed a few times in the past. There are mixed feelings as to whether the stock glass really works well with the CF hatch.

The reason why it doesnt work well is because the carbon fiber hatch bends way more than a OEM. The glass might shatter or come out of its spot if that happens. I'm sure you can do it with some reinforcement for the hatch.

I have a daily driven Z with a CF hatch, it has been on since May of this year. I have not had any issues with the glass or the hatch, but at the same time I do not have any shocks to hold up the hatch. I did have a small problem with a leak, but that was due to the installer that did the weather stripping now I am ok, so I say go for it!

does it still remain true that the seibon rear hatch fits like a square peg in a round hole?
