Default Aftermarket hatch shocks

So yeah I have the Nismo wing and have had it for quite some time. Basically since ive had it the trunk hasnt been able to hold itself up. I've removed the weight and the rear wiper for that matter to no avail. I put up with it but today the damn thing gave me a good headache when i was taking out groceries and that was the last straw. I've tried the fixes on here to no avail also. Nissan is a warranty avoiding bunch of chimps so I dont think that is an option. Has anyone bought the crazy overpriced Nismo shocks and if so are you satisfied with them? Any help on this issue including pics would be appreciated. I'm tired of having a nice car that ive put so much money into not even have a trunk that can support itself for more than 2 seconds with a Nissan freakin part.

I had mine rebuilt to be stronger by Frank at www.strutwise.com. Less than 100 dollars and they hold up the hatch.

is it not a spring based strut? Can you not just open it up and put a stronger spring, or and extra spring in there? Heck, you could even drop in a spacer and preload the spring more...maybe i'm wrong, but i don't believe these are hydraulic.
