I took over a pre order that didnt have them, and I installed them after. I think the fronts you had to drill a hold in the wheel well, and the rears you had to drill two holes in the wheel well, and one underneath, into the bumper. The ones in the rear wheel well might look a little wierd, you would have to decide for yourself, and see if it would look better with or without the screws. Anyway, they are easy to take off to see what you think. If you do want to take them off, it seems like it would be a good idea to do it asap so that the paint under it doesnt weather differently.

I had to replace a splash guard when I scraped and cracked one of them backing up on a curb, I think. When I removed it, it didn't look like it had been installed. But I have Super black, and it's probably more noticeable on PPW. Getting the new splash guard to fit perfectly was a problem, though. Still doesn't fit as tight as the original...

I am not sure what exactly will show. What are you guys talking about? Did they drill into where there is paint?

I'm not sure if they drilled into where there was paint, as it could have been done before painting the car. All I'm saying is that when I replaced the right splash guard, it didn't fit as seemless as the left one, which was one of the originals. I tried adjusting it but I couldn't get that perfect fit. It's not that big of a deal, I'm just picky, I guess. Here's some pics I took. Excuse the mud, the weather's been crappy all day.
The left splash guard (Notice, it fits pretty snug)
The right splash guard (This is the one that I put on, there's a small gap)

I just got the Z today and it looks like I will keep the splash guards on. They didn't look as bad as I thought they would plus I can tell it will be hard enough as it is keeping this car clean.
