installing OEM Aluminum Pedals
Oh yeah, the boiling water on the stove and the prying with a small screwdriver method ended up working for me.
For the gas pedal, I ended up unbolting it and pulling the plug on it to get the new one on since I just couldn't see up under there.
Thanks for the reply, glad to know that the gas pedal its not installed wrong.

I decided to fix my gas pedal, where the aluminum was not securly cliped at the top. I uncliped it and then put a couple rounds of black electrical tape around the metal bar, then recliped it and no more rattling or looseness.
so, on the base 350 manual, do you just need
1 x dead pedal
2 x clutch pedal
1 x accelerator pedal
or do i need
1 x dead pedal
2 x clutch pedal
1 x accelerator assembly
i don't know whether you can just put the aluminum pedal on the base accelerator assembly...or whether you need to replace the assembly. I would think you could just get the pedal, but wanting to make sure.

You don't need to buy the assembly, just look at my instructions.
