Okay, this has nothing to do with what he just said, but I am curious.
Any of you guys with the diffuser plan on cutting a small (insignificant hole) near the rear of the diffuser (or rather the section under the car), for water to escape and small pebbles? or you don't give a crap about that stuff?
Also, the pan looks awefully close to the diffuser, wouldn't it be wise to just cut a smooth semi circle where the pan is so the diffuser doesn't get burnt.
And lastly - am I just being 'nit-picky', the damn thing will be fine. Every now and then just use a pressure hose and blow out anything that collects in there? lol.
Persoanlly, if I do get this thing, I am goin to cut a small (less than an inch) groove right at the lowest pooint i the centre of the diffuser to let water get out, and small pebbles.

Top secret rear diffuser semi-installed
I just got the chance to visit my car at the body shop, the side skirts are being painted at the moment and will be installed tom morning. The front bumper was already cut for the installation of the varis airduct and the front diffuser should be installed tom as well. Im just waiting for my exhaust to be ready cos i made custom piping in order for the rear diffuser to fit exactly how it should.
Chebesto: The dude that installed the bumper found out exactly where the backets go. PM and ill send u pics.
The Dude
left side bracket, hope it helps

alshawi - I know you said its not fully installed in those pics, but regarding the last pic, the main peice - when it comes back up to meet the bumper on each side, does it not fit flush? It doesn't look that way in the picture, which is why I am asking? Or was it just loosely bolted up for when you get the exhaust?

from my test fits. the rear piece is to almost sit flush/ kiss the rear bumper.. there was a slight gap on the sides....

the top secret rear diffuser was designed for the Top Secret exhaust in mind, only. The dual tip Ti Top Secret exhaust is like OEM style where the muffler is all lateral contained within that diffuser tub. It is not meant for true dual....but I've never put this diffuser on, so only the current users know for sure.

It is true that there will be some air that gets caught above the diffuser, but in theory..with the shape of the venturi channel lower toward the bottom of the car, at around the point where air will most likely be coming off the rear beam/differential, the air flow will be much faster, such that the effect of air that gets caught onto of the top portion of the diffuser will be negated...
also with the shape of the leading edge of the diffuser, the part that bends up,
will prevent air from going up there... however the should have done a better job and made that lip portion taller IMHO.. the whole premise is to seal off the rear bumper.. since alot of people are running after market exhausts and we're losing our natural diffuser (stock exhaust)

Is the diffuser flexible, like how cf usually is. Or is it very rigid, and almost brittle.
I assume its flexible. I'm just asking, case I assme it'll be getting a little nudge here and there from daily driving/parking, etc.
It should be able to handle slight nudges and scrapes, right?
