Default About to replace emblems

I'm about to replace the stock rear and front emblems. I'm going out right now to get goo-gone to clean the stuff underneath the emblem.

So far from the research I have done on this site:

-Use a hairdryer to heat the old emblem
-Use some kind of plastic spoon to get part of the emblems edge up
-Use some kind of fishing string to get the rest of the emblem off. (Is it possible to use floss string instead?)
-Use Goo-gone to clean the area

I'm doing this at night and it will be raining all weekend long so I can't do that trick were you leave the car in the sun all day so you don't need to use a hairdryer. With that said, is there anything I am missing before I start this mod when I get back home?

Thanks.

Sounds like you got it.
Make sure to take your time and let the Goo Gone do the work.

Update:

-Dental floss is not a good replacement for fishing line. Luckily, I found some fishing line.
-Do not use a plastic spoon, worthless and can damage paint, go with fishing line.
-Hairdryer really helped.
-goo-gone felt like it didn't do anything to help out this process, I used soap and water and it basically did the same thing if not better.

I didn't take any "before" pictures but I think we can guess what it looks like. I've attached "after" pictures though.

I think I might order the "FairladyZ" emblem. There is a small scratch on the passenger side. it's minor but it's bugging me, so I figure I'm going to remove the driver side "350Z" emblem and put the "FairladyZ" emblem over the scratch on the passenger side

I ordered the satin finish emblem to match the 350Z and the door handle finish.

On a side note, I notice with this emblems, they are identical to each other. But I noticed that the OEM ones, the front emblem is just a bit smaller in hieght then these aftermarket emblem. I guess they were too lazy to make two molds or they didn't study the two OEM emblem to notice the slight hieght difference.
