He didn't quote me an actual price, he explained, as I am sure you have heard before, they would have to make a mold, the cost of which is around $1300. That is why they are looking for around 10 to 15 buyers so that the cost can be spread around. If you look on the website it seems that they charge about $470 shipped for headliners for other imports. Don't know what the group buy price would be.

Too bad the gas cap alone is $250 plus whatever you paid for the cf job.

That's a fact, but I purchased it used. I think it would be a big hassle to modify a "off the shelf" like sparco due to the specialized mounting hardware and remote release, never mind the complex bend to match the fender shape. So sometimes you must pay to get something that works, because there is no mass market for it, unlike ones for mustangs and F150s.
