Default Carbon Fiber Nismo Wing-Need some help

I just got a full Carbon Fiber Nismo Wing but I'm trying to figure out to align it perfectly? Anyone have some helpful instructions?

Is it he Seibon JDM v1 replica?

If so, shouldn't be too hard. Do you have the stock lip spoiler on your car? If so, the two outer holes will be used for the base of the Nismo wing.

If not, you'll need to test fit the wing and align it. The back edge should be right against the back edge of the hatch and the wing tips should be resting on the hatch. If that looks good, you can make a template of the wing base to align on the deck and mark where to drill.

See the first post of this thread:

Note: your holes will be in diff. locations b/c that is the EVO-R wing. Mounting method is the same, though.

I got it off EBay for great deal, all carbon..It seems like the tips sit about a 1/2in off the hatch but....I have another NISMO fiberglass wing here too and the indention on the top piece of both spoilers seem like there off a little.

They anyone have trouble trying to align it exactly right?

Well, I have seen some where the tips don't touch like they are supposed to and it's not that big a deal. If the indentations on the bottom of the top wing don't line up properly with the base, though, sounds like it's a manufacturing problem, but you can still make it work. I've seen others that could not be bolted down all the way (top piece to base) and sat a littl off kilter in order for the wing to sit right on the car, but you never see it unless you get underneath and look up at where they bolt together. If you aren't comfortable getting it on with acceptable fitment, just have a body shop do it.

Yeah, in that case, doing a test fit, making a template and measuring 20 times before drilling is the way to go...

Put a bunch of painter's tape down on the hatch so you don't scratch it up while test fitting, to mark on where to drill and to protect the paint from chiping around the holes when you do drill.
