I am having trouble deciding between buying the clear/red LED tails available for Zs in Japan or buying the all-Red LED tails standard on Zs in 2006 in the states. I have a super black 2005 enthusiast. Does anyone have pictures, opinions to help me decide. I know the All Reds are about $120 cheaper per pair, but the extra money might be worth it if the clear ones are super gorgeous and make me smile when I go to bed at night.

i bought the black altezza tail lights led and i'mloving it, really mada a diference in the car.....only 220, not bad at all, really easy to install....

 

i went with the usdm '06 lights (all red ones) and couldn't have been happier.

the jdm ones just aren't my taste.

I think if you smoke the JDM's, they would look okay on SB. If not, definately the USDM all red. Good luck.

Oh yeah! You know what, that's what I was thinking about too! I was thinking of leaving the red reflector open, but smoking over the clear part. Can someone do a photoshop of that, using the picture I put up, I would do it if I wasn't at work right now.

Or maybe someone has a pic already, and then photoshop that...

I recall that the tails on the FX 35/45 look something like smoked clears with red reflectors, right?

 

Go for the normal red ones, looks really good on black.

 

Go with the 06 red. I haven't seen a Z yet that looked good with the clear tails. IMHO.

I would go with the "All Red" it just looks cleaner on a black car. The JDM ones look like some ebay knock-offs. Just my opinion though

 

I swapped 2004's (they are for sale !) for the 2006 leds.

In my opinion, they make the -Z- look much better, classy and modern. They are definately brighter, a lot brighter when you hit the brakes.

If you are still uncertain, make sure to see both in day and night time, brakes on and brakes off.

(Keep them RED)

get the red 06 leds.. that's the one I just ordered from performance nissan.. they have in stock btw.
