Default Shift *****

I wanted to know what the real difference is between titanium, carbon fiber and other shift *****. I also wanted to know which kind I should buy.

you should buy whatever kind you like the most.

The difference is the material used to make them hahaha

Seriously though you just need to pick the type of grip you like whether it be ball or pistol or whatever and pick the type you like the most. Some ***** are weighted some are not. I like the weighted ball grips

Just give some consideration to where you live.

Is the car parked in the sun for 9 hours while you are at work? A metal **** is going to get hot.

Do you race in the summer when it is humid? Again, certain materials are going to be very slippery.

I have stocked all kinds of the nismo shifters. I like the titanium one the most. It has some weight to it and I like that. But whatever floats your boat.

+1, I have it too and its very nice. It doesnt get TOO hot in the sun, and its a lot heavier than the stock **** so you dont get as much vibration and shifts feel more solid. I live in southern CA, so the hottest it really gets is upper 90's, and it just gets pretty warm, not unbearable. Just dont get an aluminum one if it gets really hot where you live, they heat up too much.

Damn, $100 for a shift ****? I was thinking of getting another one (looking at those Nismo titanium ones that go for about $60 on ebay), but I can't imagine anything that's metal feeling better than the leather stock one. Maybe I just need to be able to feel one in person, but I like the stock one the way it is.
